We recently wrote to all active and deferred members of the Norfolk Pension Fund about the vacancy on our Pensions Oversight Board for a representative drawn from our scheme members who are not yet receiving their pension. You can read a copy of the letter here.

Following the nomination process, two active/deferred scheme members have put themselves forward as candidates.

If you are an active or deferred scheme member, you are eligible to vote for your preferred candidate.

Please read the notes below on how you can vote.

Information about the voting and appointment process

Only active or deferred members of the Norfolk Pension Fund are entitled to vote.

There is one vote per person (regardless of the number of memberships or type of membership an individual holds).

The successful candidate will be the one who receives the most votes.

In the event of a tie, the names of the tied candidates will be put in a hat and the first one drawn out will take the seat on the Board.

Candidate Personal Statements

All candidates were required to submit a Personal Statement as part of their application, explaining how they believed that they could contribute to the effectiveness of the Pensions Oversight Board.
