Annual Benefit Statement

Each year we will send you a statement showing you an estimate of your benefits. Your statement will also include information about the changes to the LGPS, topical pension issues, a summary of the accounts and a general review of the Norfolk Pension Fund.

Annual Meeting

Each year you will be invited to an Annual Meeting, which gives you the opportunity to get an update on the Norfolk Pension Fund. 

Pre-Retirement Course

Members planning to retire in the next 18 months or two years can attend a Pre-Retirement Planning Course which is delivered over two half days via MS Teams. 

The course, which is FREE to attend covers:

  • Creating a new future and managing change
  • Making the most of your retirement, leisure and learning opportunities
  • Maintaining health and fitness
  • Information about the Norfolk Pension Fund
  • Investment options and where to get financial advice
  • Opportunities in the voluntary sector

Course dates:

  • Thursday 21 September 2023 and Thursday 28 September 2023 (9.30am-12.30pm both days)
  • Tuesday 7 November 2023 and Tuesday 14 November 2023 (1.30pm-4.30pm both days)
  • Wednesday 10 January 2024 and Wednesday 17 January 2024 (9.30am-12.30pm both days)
  • Thursday 21 March 2024 and Thursday 28 March 2024 (1.30pm-4.30pm both days)

The course, which is managed and run by Norfolk County Council, is open to all Scheme members. Please contact the Norfolk Development Academy team for more details or to book a place.

Primetime

Primetime is the newsletter we will send to you each year to keep you up to date with what is happening with the Norfolk Pension Fund.

P60s

A P60 is a certificate showing the pension paid and the tax deducted during the previous tax year. We will send you a P60 in May each year.

Payslips

We only send a payslip if:

  • the amount we pay you changes by more than £1
  • your tax code has changed
  • your address has changed
  • your bank details have changed
    or we have a message for you.
  • You can also register on this website to see your payslip online.
Pension increase notification

We will write to you every April with details of your pension increase.

Don’t forget to keep in touch with us and let us know if you:

  • change address
  • change your bank or building society
  • accept another job where you can join the LGPS
  • change your marriage/relationship status
  • wish to change your nomination of beneficiary for death grant
