LGPS Central Ltd is a Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)-regulated asset management company that handles the collective investment pooling for 14 Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) funds across England, including the Norfolk Pension Fund.
Hosted by West Midlands Pension Fund / City of Wolverhampton Council, LGPS Central Ltd currently has a vacancy for a Partnership Director.
This is a pivotal senior leadership role for an experienced governance and partnership professional who can operate confidently across a complex, high profile and multi-regional local government pension environment. The postholder will lead the Central Pool Partnership Office (CPPO) function and provide the governance, relationship and delivery leadership needed to support the LGPS Central Investment Pool collaboration.
The role sits at the interface between the partner pension funds, their senior officers and elected members, and LGPS Central Ltd. It requires the ability to turn collective ambition into clear governance actions, using sound judgement, independence and building credibility with all parties to achieve this.
